Aidan King qualified as a pharmacist from Trinity College Dublin in 1992 and joined Elan Corporation’s strategic marketing group with the responsibility of identifying and evaluating drugs as candidates for product development using Elan’s drug delivery technologies.

Having completed an MBA at University College Dublin in 1998, Aidan moved to the U.S. as one of the founding members of Elan’s corporate VC group. Over the next five years, Aidan completed twenty-two strategic investments in public and private public life science companies in the U.S., Canada and Europe.

Aidan left Elan in September 2003 and joined Bio-IB, a New York based healthcare investment bank. As a partner at the firm, Aidan’s responsibilities included fund raising, M&A and product licensing for public and private life science companies. Aidan is a CFA charter holder.
